Bob Ziegler passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 after a valiant fight with cancer. Bob joined the Alliance team in 2006 as a consultant, and his main responsibility was to assist plan sponsors and investment advisors with the design and implementation of retirement plans. Bob was an integral member of the Alliance team, assisting with challenging plan designs, supporting advisors with screening fund lineups, and ensuring that all clients were properly serviced.

Bob was an adventurer and lover of the outdoors. He was a master at grilling over charcoal, starting camp fires, and strategic vacation packing. Bob loved planning and taking trips to explore our national parks, vacationing in Hawaii, and always looked forward to annual road trips to visit family. He pursued a variety of outdoor activities with his sons, including skiing, camping, SCUBA diving, kayaking, hiking, and mountain biking.

Bob’s impact on the Alliance family was deep, and we will always fondly remember his good nature and positive influence.
